Education for all.

We have learned to inform and listen, to inspire and motivate people, to appreciate small steps and accept criticism, and much more! But not everyone in the world has the chance or opportunity to enjoy an education like we do.

263 million children worldwide have no access to education. This is what motivated us to found Buckle & Seam. We want to bring about change and ensure that children can go to school. While our founders were living and working in Pakistan, they were faced with a daily challenge - that the people they were interacting with had little to no literacy.

Our mission is change.

We believe that education is the key to success and equality in both personal and professional life - and therefore, it lies at the heart of our company. Thanks to our community, we can support the construction and equipping of schools, as well as initiatives to support teachers.

OUR SUPPORT

We invest 3%.

Since our founding in 2016, we have been investing 3% of our net revenue in educational initiatives and in our own school project, the AMN School. We aim to provide children, especially girls, with the opportunity to attend school. According to UNICEF, only 59% of the population in Pakistan can read and write, which is more than 30% lower than in Germany.

So far, we have been able to send over 1,000 children to school, giving them a chance for self-determination and their own income. This is a small contribution with a significant life-changing impact! Not only for the children but also for their families. Above all, it is a major success for young women whose role in society is often neglected and is now consciously strengthened through education and resulting opportunities for the future.

OUR PROJECTS

141 students attend our own school annually.

Since 2016, we have been supporting the AMN School through our 'One Bag, One Child' program. Today, the school is attended by 141 students annually. They learn reading, writing, and English, among other subjects. Additionally, topics such as hygiene, tolerance, and respect are taught.

Other initiatives we support include The Citizens Foundation, Digital Career Institute, and Deaf Reach. We primarily focus on supporting young people with disabilities who face barriers to education and personal development.
